ORANGEVILLE, Ontario (May 9, 2011) - The Grounds Guys™ Canada is pleased to announce the opening of a new franchise location in Orillia, Ontario.
The new owners of The Grounds Guys™ Orillia franchise are Scott and Amanda Santia. The Grounds Guys™ Brand provides Landscape Management and Grounds Maintenance services for commercial and residential customers throughout Canada and the USA.
Scott Santia brings both practical and managerial expertise, coupled with outstanding customer service and leadership experience, to the new Orillia-based Grounds Guys™ landscape and grounds maintenance Company. Over the past five years Scott has gained experience in the Landscape and Maintenance field as the Operations Manager for The Grounds Guys™ franchise located in Collingwood. Prior to this Scott was employed as an Equipment Operator for his Grandfather's construction firm, concentrating on design and installation of hardscapes, irrigation systems and landscape enhancements. When asked why they decided to open their own Grounds Guys™ franchise in Orillia, Scott responded: "Working at the Collingwood franchise location really opened my eyes to the business potential that The Grounds Guys™ systems provide. I've learned that providing timely communications and value-added solutions to our Clients is the key to customer service. The Grounds Guys™ Home Office is truly dedicated and staffed to provide any followup support needed; and they have years of combined landscaping expertise that we can leverage and implement in our own franchise location. Amanda Santia also brings a passion for success and has eleven years of extensive, practical customer service skills gained through her career working for Scotia Bank as a Manager of Customer Service. She will head up the team's Customer Service Department. Scott and Amanda are relocating to the Orillia area where they plan to have a strong Community involvement. They have three wonderful children: Breana, Kyle and Selena.
